As the New Order rises, so too does the tyranny and power of the Empire. At a time of great turbulence, very little stands between the Empire’s complete domination of the known Galaxy. System after system has fallen to the strength and might of the Imperial forces and hope, to some, is ever diminishing.

Yet, there are some who won’t let this tyranny go unchecked. Pockets of resistance have come to light: freedom fighters, sympathisers of the fallen systems, band together and concentrate their efforts on the restoration of the Old Republic and on the disruption of Imperial activity. Determined to regain peace once more, the Alliance champions freedom and liberty as its chief goals and as the injustices of the Empire grow, so too does the fire burning in the heart of the young Rebellion.

Although generally viewed as under-equipped and unorganised, the growing man-power of the Alliance’s swelling ranks balances out certain inequities they must face. Unlike the Empire, the Rebel Alliance welcomes all races and species into their ranks, and as such, benefit from the expertise such sentients have to offer. What may have started as a rag-tag group of exiled Old Republicans, has now changed into an efficient power worth reckoning, boasting a much admired military and ingenious young minds.
